ABOUT ME

My work with Stampin' Up! is very rewarding. I enjoy the opportunity to create with the coordinated papers, inks, stamps, dies, embossing folders and embelishments.  The ability to be a creative coach to customers and friends allows me to offer fresh project ideas and encouragement, while introducing them to their creative inner self. Helping people create a project they would be proud to share is a wonderful feeling.  Creating cards, paper crafts and gifts is about more than paper, ink and  embellishments  - it is more about giveing a part of yourself to the recipeint.  Something they know you have 'handcrafted from the heart'.

I love to create cards and paper crafts that mean more to the recipient than a card selected from a big retailer.  The cards and paper crafts I create are produced in limited numbers, often as one of a kind.  The likelihood that someone will recieve another card like the one I create is astronomically small.

My interest in crafts began when I was a child, and I have enjoyed introducing my daughter to crafts and paper crafts.  She is proud to send her unique cards to family and friends.

I introduced my young granddaughter to my passion, and she looks forward to creating with me in my studio every time we have the opportunity to see each other.

I have been a Stampin' Up! customer for more than 15 years, and a demonstrator for more than ten years.  Until recently, I have only been a 'hobby demonstrator' - creating for myself, selling finished products on ETSY and at local events.

Each month I host workshops to share my passion with other stampers.  I prepare everthing for the attendees, including specific directions detailing all the items used to create the projects.

I sell cards through my store on ETSY - ScottyWorks, and produce cards for high volume customers such as managers and officers for Morgan Stanley, 2 smaller investment firms, Home Depot, Raytheon and Lockheed Martin.
